The Golden Rule
Another blogger, “Beauty Beyond Bones” recently made a post and within her post made this statement. “Always leave people better than you found them.”
This got me to thinking. In Matthew 7:12 Christ says, “So whatever you wish that other would do to you, do also to them.” We call this the golden rule. Christ is basically saying, “If you love me, really truly love me and are reflecting my character, then you will do to others as they would want them to do you.” Why because God is all about leaving people in better shape than when He found them. Then if we are reflecting God character in our life, then we will desire to likewise leave people better off than when we found them.
So, Let us determine from this day forward to treat each other as Christ would want us to because we are children of God and desire to reflect his character.
