Diligence

Dear Lord there is not a one of us that has not lacked diligence.  Please stir me up until I become like the woman who lost the coin.  She did “seek diligently until she found it” Luke 15:8.

“See you a man diligent in his business?  He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” Proverbs 22:29.  “Be diligent that you may be found of Him in peace. II Peter 3:14.  For it is God which works in you Philippians 2:13.  Therefore Lord I pray for you to diligently work in my life until I become Diligent as Joseph and Daniel were, that I to may one day stand before You, the King of this earth.

Dear Lord, I thank you for this promise: “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
