The Light is Always On!

Galatians 4:4 “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law.”
The fullness of the time had come, humanity, becoming more degraded through the ages of transgression, called for the coming of the Redeemer. Satan had been working to make the gulf deep and impassible between earth and heaven …. It was his purpose to wear out the forbearance of God, and to extinguish His love for men, so that He would abandon the world to satanic jurisdiction. DA 24,35
This world is a mess! Oh how it must break the heart of God to see His beautiful creation falling apart. Have you ever had a project that once started you could see that it is not coming together and so you decide to scrap it and start all over? It’s like cooking. Over the years there have been times that a recipe that sounded really good, didn’t turn out so well. Sometimes it is way better to scrap it, then to try to fix it. Do you know what I mean? My mother had the gift of making the most delicious homemade bread. I apparently did not inherit that gift from her. I have tried many times to make bread like hers, and many times I have ended up eating some really hard, dry bread! God too, has had times that He has had disappointment in mankind. The flood is proof of that. Satan has caused us to believe a lie. He wants us to believe that God wants to punish us for our sin and rebellion. This is not true. It grieves Him that we go our own way, and choose to believe the lie. Satan tells us that our sin is too great, that we can’t be forgiven, that God cannot take us back. Many have asked the question, Have I committed the unpardonable sin? If you are asking this question, you have not. The Holy Spirit is working in your heart. You are seeking for answers for a longing heart. The only way we can be lost is to refuse to invite Jesus into our lives. To slam the door shut never to be opened again. This grieves the Holy Spirit, and God has no choice but to follow your wishes. God’s plan is that all will come to Him through His Son, Jesus. He will always leave the light on for us. His love for us is far too great to dump us when we need Him most.
