Heaven’s Last Invitation “COME”

And the Spirit and the bride say, come. And let him that hear, say, come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17

“Come.” This is the last call! It is found in the last chapter of the last book of the Bible. It is the subline anthem in which heaven and earth unit in giving God’s gracious final invitation to all His earthly children to come home. First, the Spirit sings, “Come” a might voice to awaken heaven and earth. Then the bride, the church sings, “Come,” and the sweet music is to reverberate around the world! Next, everyone who is thirsty shouts, “Come,” to every other thirsty soul. Finally, unknown voices, maybe all the angels unit in one grand final chorus, “Whosever will, Come.” Even Jesus seems to join them saying, “Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you.” This majestic anthem will soon vibrate from pole to pole and stir the deepest emotions of every earthborn soul.

PEACE. If you are tired of War, come to a place of perpetual peace!

BLISS.   If you are tired of the curse, come, enjoy perennial bliss!

WORSHIP. Before the throne of God, we shall rejoice and say with the angels, “Holy, holy, holy” as we cast our crowns at His feet.

SERVICE. “His servants shall serve him.” At last we shall do His will as it is done in heaven. What unspeakable ecstasy to service to Him!

VISION. “They shall see His face.” With undimmed vision we shall see Him not through a glass darkly, as now, but face to face. The streets of gold will not tempt us. We shall see Him!

TRANSFORMATION. “His name shall be in their foreheads.”

The great controversy is ended. Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is clean. One pulse of harmony and gladness beats through the vast creation” To this happy home all heaven says, “Come!”

As 2017 comes to a close, I invite you in 2018 to come, come and experience a new relationship with God. Make a commitment to daily talk with God in prayer and listen to His Words to us. Then invite others to come and do the same. Amen
