Isaiah had been given a glimpse of the heavenly throne room. While there he saw the splendor, the un-describable beauty and then heard the angels singing, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” When the LORD spoke, the room shook, and smoke filled the room.
Isaiah response is seen in verse 5 or Isaiah chapter 6: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Became I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King the LORD of hosts.” Isaiah saw his need for a Saviour.
In our lifetime most of us will not have the same privilege as Isaiah. We will not be given the chance to look into the throne room of God until Christ returns at His second coming.
Or do we? One of the names given to Jesus is Emanuel which means “God with us.” Then by looking upon the life of Jesus, as recorded in four gospels, they reveal to us through Jesus‘ life the true character of God the Father.
When we look upon the life of Christ, we then see our need of Christ to live within our hearts and share our knowledge of God to others.
