True and Certain Promises that Show We Can
The ABS’s of prayer: Ask, Believe, Claim, then return Thanks.
All of us from time to time are subject to doubt. Sometimes we even doubt that God’s promises are true and certain.
If you are one that has asked, “Dear Lord, is every one of Your promises true and certain?
God has given us promises in the Bible that He is True and Certain. II Corinthians 1:20 states: “All the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”
“God is not a man, that he sho9uld like; neither the son of man, that he should repent: Has he said, and shall he not do it? Or has he spoken, and shall He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19
“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” Psalm 89:34
“You know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord you God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.” Joshua 23:14
I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.” Isaiah 46:11
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness.” II Peter 3:9
“For ever, O Lord, they word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89
There are other promises we could also claim, such as Hebrews 6:8; Titus 1:2; I Samuel 15:29; and Isaiah 54:10 where it says: “The mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, says the Lord that has mercy on us.
Our Prayer should be, “I thank you, Lord, that they faithfulness is unto all generations.” Psalm 119:90.
That “He is faithful that promised, Hebrews 10:23
And that “They word is true from the beginning,” Psalm 119:160
So “Lord, I believe.” Mark 9:24
And I thank you that you hast heard me. John 11:41
I Love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplication Psalm 116:1
